With more than 8 thousand km of coastline,it's not easy to choose a beach in Brazil, however one beach that stands out this summer is Jericoacoara, which is located on the north coast in the state of Ceará.

One of the most important icons of Jeri is Pedra Furada, rocky formation carved by the sea for thousands of years. An interesting point of Pedra Furada is the trail that leads you to it and the magic energy you feel in the air. For the most mistic, Pedra Furada has a different energy to other places. To guarantee the preservation of the region, The National Park of Jericoacoara acquired 400 hectares, totalizing 8,850 hectares, including, as well, the Manguezal Rio Guriú, area of the seahorses, also some permanent dunes and zones covered by native vegetation. The conservation of the region is what makes of Jericoacoara a unique place. Jericoacoara is located at 313km from Fortaleza (capital of the State of Ceara), with access by the National Routes 222 and 402, and state routes 085, 422, 354, 402 and 179.
